South African runner Caster Semenya obliterated her competition at the World Track & Field Championships in Berlin on Wednesday is facing accusation she is NOT a woman. Her low voice, facial hair,... and musculature indicate that she could have been born a boy. The 18-year old refutes these claims, but the IAAF has launched an investigation which will involve endocrinological and gynecological testing. Another middle-distance runner Santhi Soundarajan of India was stripped of a silver medal at the 2006 Asian Games after failing a verification test and attempted suicide as a result. more>>
