At the very end of the 5th game in the Eastern quarterfinal series between Chicago and Boston, Celtic Rajon Rondo fish hooks Bull Brad Miller as he's going up to the basket. Chicago got 2 shots and... the ball, seemingly assure them the victory, but Miller missed both shots and didn't even hit the rim on the second so his team could recover the ball. Boston got it instead and won and the NBA decided the next day not declare Rondo's foul a flagrant. Bad night all around for the Bulls!more>>

On the Rondo foul, if contact is committed against a player and it is interpreted to be unnecessary then it is a flagrant foul. Rondo clearly did not make a play on the ball and the contact was unnecessary. The verdict...flagrant foul according to the rule book.
