Even without starting QB Tony Pike, Cincinnati is unstoppable. Pike (who had surgery to repair a plate in his non-throwing arm several days ago) was replaced by sophomore Zach Collaros who completed 15 of 17 passes as he threw for 253 yards, 3TDs.

The Bearcats , led by QB Tony Pike (threw for a career-high 362 yards and three TDs) handed the Scarlet Knights their first defeat in the season opener. Rutgers had hoped to show off their $102M newly renovated stadium complete with luxury suites and enclosure, but the only thing on display was the Knights weakness at the QB position.
