But when Minnesota DH Alexi Casilla hit a walk-off single in the bottom 12th to bring Carlos Gomez home in the Dome, that sealed the Twins playoff spot and brought Detroit's season to an end. Intoxicated Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera Gets Into Fight With Wife

Miguel Cabrera had a blood-alcohol level of .26, more than three times the legal limit, when he was involved in a physical altercation with his wife early Saturday morning. According to the Birmingham Police Rosangel Cabrera, called 911 at 6 a.m. Saturday, requesting police assistance. Both Miguel and his wife had scratches on their face when officers arrived. Cabrera, who was not charged, had allegedly spent the night partying with White Sox players and did not drive himself home.

Rick Porcello came into the game with 10 wins and a 1.98 ERA in his past two starts. He had a strikeout and double play in the first inning before hitting Youkilis with the first pitch of the second inning.

Youkilis charged Porcello, threw his batting helmet at him and tackled him. Though, Porcello somehow ended up on top of Youkilis as benches cleared.
