The Eagles Miracle Win over Giants--Nov. 19, 1978

The NY Giants lead the Philadelphia Eagkles, 17-12, and they're running out the clock for a big upset. Then it happens; instead of taking a knee to finish the game, the Giants call a running play. QB Joe Pisarcik turns to hand the ball to RB Larry Csonka who apparently didn't get the message. The ball bounces to (yes that) Herman Edwards and the Eagles win, 19-17. No Giant fan (even those not yet born) will forget that day and that play. One great sidenote. When the Eagles went to the Super Bowl following the 1980 season, their backup QB was none other than Joe Pisarcik.
