Oregon's preseason predictions were upbeat and then the Ducks lost to Boise State in their opener and their best running back LeGarrette Blount punched a Boise player and was suspended. But when Oregon took on Pac-10 rival and highly ranked Cal and blew them right out, the hopes sprung again in Eugene.

Oregon RB LeGarrette Blount gave a sincere apology to the media after the Ducks 19-8 loss for the horrible behavior he displayed Thursday night when he punched a Boise State DE in the jaw, and then tried to fight the Broncos fans that booed him. He also should have apologized for losing 5 yards on 8 carries (and for being named LeGarrette). But, in his defense, it is clearly visible that dude touched him first.
