The Pittsburgh Penguins Beat The Washington Capitals in Game 7

Led by Sidney Crosby, the Penguins marched on Washington and took the Capitals by force. The previously exciting series went to game seven but someone should have told Ovechin and his Caps. The Penguins destroy the Caps 6-2 winning the series 4-3. It looks like the NHL got it's wish as Sid "the Kid" Crosby moves on to the third round.

LeBron James meets the Washington Capital's Alexander Ovechkin, the NHL's most promising young phenom, at the Verizon Center. King James was in town to play the Wizards and met Ovie in apparently good spirits even though his team had just lost to Washington's. Caps owner Ted Leonsis introduces James.

Alex Ovechkin scored his 50th goal of the season last night---closely followed by 51, 52 and 53 -- as the Caps reigned terror on Bruins G Tim Thomas' GAA in a 10-2 bloodbath. In other news, the Caps continued to establish themselves as the unofficial trade-deadline winners as Ex-Canuck Matt Cooke scored his first goal in a Caps uni only 32 seconds into the game and Huet finished with a .909 SV%.
