An incredible athlete for a 7'3" guy. Still learning the game, but has all the smarts and desire to fulfill his potential. Knows his bread and butter is blocking shots. Has a nice jumper that shows he can develop offensively. Averaged over 10 rebounds and 4 blocked shots in the Big East.

Syracuse Outlasts UConn In 6 OT Epic

While you were sleeping, Syracuse and Connecticut battled in the longest game in Big East history (3 hours, 46 minutes) at the Garden Thursday night/Friday morning. Ultimately, Syracuse survived Connecticut, 127-117 in the 6th OT. By the numbers,the Big East rivals combined for 8 players fouling out, 6 players with double-doubles, and 244 points. Jonny Flynn drained 34 of them--along with 11 assists--in his game-high 67 minutes!

"I've got no words," Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said when asked to describe the second-longest Division I game ever. "I've never been prouder of any team I've coached."
