The Magic won their first game in two visits to the NBA finals as Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis scored 21 points apiece in a 108-104 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 on Tuesday night to pull within 2-1.

Orlando shot a finals record 63 percent -- including another record 75 percent in the first half -- to snap a six-game finals losing streak and avoid falling into an 0-3 hole that 88 previous teams in postseason history have been unable to escape.

As LeBron threw up a would be game winning buzzer beater the entire Magic crowd fell silent for the few seconds the ball was in the air. Lucky for them it magically clanked off the side of the basket.
Despite Mo Williams game 4 guarantee, the Magic win 116 - 114 in OT and lead the series 3 - 1.

LeBron James went off for 49 points, but the Magic rallied in the second half to hand the Cavs their first playoff loss.
Rashard Lewis helped the Magic pull one out of their hat, saving his best for the second half and hitting the winning 3 with 14.7 seconds left.

Has Cleveland finally met their match?
Dwight Howard scored 30 points, Rashard Lewis added 22 and the Orlando Magic rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit to hand LeBron James and the Cavaliers their first loss of the postseason, 107-106 on Wednesday night in the Eastern Conference finals opener.

In the end, the defending Champs went down with out much of a fight. Hedo Turkoglu led the Magic with 25 points & 12 assists as they won game 7 101-82 and the Eastern Semifinal series 4-3. The Celtics did manage to outscore Orlando for both the 2nd and 3rd quarters but fell disastrously behind in the fourth. The Magic will face Lebron James' Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals beginning Wednesday, May 20.

Orlando Hands Cleveland Most Lopsided Loss of the Season

LeBron James and the Cavs got embarrassed by the Orlando Magic in their last regular season match-up. The Magic soundly beat Cleveland 116-87 on their home floor. Dwight Howard scored 20pts, 10 rebs and Rashard Lewis added another 3pts as LeBron had a bad shooting night, only going 7-for-20 from the floor.
