Before they fought in 1978, Olympic Champ Leon Spinks and heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali did a little sparring for the cameras at a news conference. Leon somehow won the fight (his eighth as a pro) and the world got to see his gap-toothed grin (his teeth were in for the news conference but almost never any other time) from their newspapers, magazines and TV sets. Not a pretty site.

As for Max, he raps about as well as you'd expect a boxing analyst to rap - which is not well. This is the one video they made called "Young Man Rumble."

Anyway, as for some background, Max and his brother formed perhaps the worst named rap group ever - "Max & Sam" - and were signed to Columbia Records in 1994. Which is sort of amazing when you think about it. I'm not sure who signed them, but my guess is whoever did doesn't work at Columbia anymore.
