K-Rod shut the door on Team USA's 9th inning rally as Venezuela avenged an earlier 15-6 drubbing and won Group C of the World Baseball Classic. Team USA (2-1) still advanced to Round 2 and will take on Puerto Rico Saturday.

"For some reason I feel like right now I'm at another level," said Francisco Rodriguez, in what must be music to Mets fans ears. "Just to be able to wear a Venezuelan jersey, it's totally different for some reason. I don't know why, but it's totally different to be able to play with your country."
