Browns QB Brady Quinn threw his second interception of the game. On the return, Quinn was penalized 15 yards for a low block, setting up the Ravens at Cleveland's 24-yard line. Four plays later, kicker Steven Hauschka nailed a 44-yard field goal to put the Ravens up 16-0 midway through the third quarter.
Running back Ray Rice scored the first points of the game on the Ravens' first drive of the second half, running 13 yards through traffic for a touchdown. He finished with 89 yards on 20 carries and had three receptions for 15 yards.
Quinn had just 36 yards passing in the second half, and two of the first three passes he threw were intercepted, including one that was returned 48 yards by Dawan Landry for a touchdown.
This was the first game this season that neither team scored in the first half. ... Ravens safety Haruki Nakamura broke his right ankle on the opening kickoff. ... The Ravens halted a five-game skid on Monday Night Football and are now 5-7 all-time. ... Browns WR Josh Cribbs was taken to a hospital for further tests after being injured on the game's final play.

Fantasy scouting report: Ray Rice shined at times during 2008's running back by committee approach in Baltimore. The Ravens are committed to the run and don't have much in passing options to suggest otherwise. On the flip side, Rice could find himself being one of Joe Flacco's primary targets, making him a consistent contributor in fantasy points. With Willis McGahee's fragility a potential concern, look for Rice to carry much of the load in 2009.

Ray Lewis should have kept his mouth shut during the week leading up to this so called "strong match up". The Giants dominated on all fronts putting up 207 yards on the ground against the top rushing defense in the league who previous to Sunday's loss, had only allowed 76 rushing yards or less against them all year.
