Phillies 1B Ryan Howard hit a double to right with two out in the top ninth to drive in Shane Victorino and Chase Utley and tie the game 4-4. Jayson Werth would go on to plate the go-ahead run and Brad Lidge came thru with a save for the second game in a row as the Phillies trounced the Rockies 5-4. The Phillies will face the Dodgers in LA on Thursday.

In his postseason debut Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee looked like a playoff veteran. He held the Rockies to 6 hits and looked like he was on his way to a shut out when Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki hit a double to bring home LF Carlos Gonzalez after Lee lost his mojo when he stepped off the mound with an 0-2 count in the ninth.

Raul Ibanez's eighth-inning drive off Hanrahan stayed fair down the right-field line for a go-ahead grand slam that lifted the Philadelphia Phillies to a wild 13-11 win over the Washington Nationals on Monday night.

"This club never gives in," Ibanez said. "I feel blessed to be a part of it."

J.A. Happ (1-0) worked a hitless inning for the win. With star closer Brad Lidge nursing a sore knee, Ryan Madson got three outs for his first save this season. Joel Hanrahan (0-1) got the loss.

The Marlins' latest loss got so out of hand that outfielder Cody Ross pitched a scoreless ninth inning. After starting the season 11-1, their losing streak has skidded to 6.

"We're not an 11-1 team, and we're not an 0-6 team -- we're somewhere in the middle," manager Fredi Gonzalez said.

Jamie Moyer (3-1) allowed one run and seven hits to improve to 7-0 at Dolphin Stadium and 12-1 against the Marlins overall. Graham Taylor (0-1) lasted just 3 2/3 innings in his major league debut for Florida. He walked six and hit a batter with a pitch while allowing four runs and four hits.
